Jaybat's Birds of Prey Website

Jaybat's Birds of Prey Website: "I enjoy hearing from those who visit this site. If you have questions or comments about hawks, Email me!

I've been interested in raptors and other birds of prey since the early 1980s. I've conducted hawk watches in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas for the Hawk Migration Association of North America (HMANA); was the Western editor of Hawk Migration Studies, HMANA's journal, for ten years; and was on its Board of Directors for a term.

I'm most familiar with the migrations of Broad-winged Hawks, Mississippi Kites, and Red-tailed Hawks over the central and western U.S. Gulf Coast."

Sunday Morning Serenade - Saskatchewan - YouTube

Sunday Morning Serenade - Saskatchewan - YouTube:
Video uploaded from my mobile iPhone at 8AM Sunday morning, September-09-2012.
Air-impact torque wrenches are being used to assemble steel grain bins on a commercial lot directly opposite our residence. This work generally continues daily throughout summer (including Sundays and legal holidays), from 7:30AM onwards.
A "decibel" is the unit to measure the loudness of sound.
When using an air-impact torque wrench, ear protection is necessary because the decibel level of the tool is over 100 decibels (104 -107 dB) -- a dangerous noise level.
Any noise level above 85 decibels (dB) may be hazardous to your hearing, even if it only lasts for a short while.

Noroviruses are the most common cause of viral gastroenteritis in humans. Norovirus affects people of all ages."

Medical Malpractice: Using Expert Witnesses | Nolo.com

Medical Malpractice: Using Expert Witnesses | Nolo.com: "Almost all medical malpractice cases require testimony from a medical expert. The facts are usually too complex for non-doctors to determine if the patient's doctor should be held liable for the patient's injury. In fact, in many states you must get a medical expert's opinion before you can initiate a lawsuit.
It pays to learn ahead of time why expert testimony is crucial in medical malpractice cases, what that testimony consists of, who may serve as an expert, and when an expert might not be necessary."
